OPPORTUNITIES IN SCANDINAVIA

There are many excellent educational opportunities offered in Scandinavia which offer international educational experiences. University level students in the United States should check with their school's international study abroad programs to find out more about the opportunities available through their school. Two excellent sites for post-secondary educational opportunities in the five main Scandinavian countries:

Each major city in Scandinavia has some excellent programs. Summer only programs also are fun to take! For example, the excellent summer offering at the University of Oslo called the International Summer School (ISS) affords students with at least one year of college the chance to explore Norway and make international friendships. Most classes (with the exception of advanced Norwegian classes) are taught in English. Educational offerings focus on learning more about Norway while making world-wide friendships due to the international composition of the students. Excursions are also offered as part of this program which allow you to see the highlights of Norway. Look online for additional schools offering such programs in the city of your choice.
